Where is gedit on Lubuntu?

Where is gedit on lubuntu? i can't find gedit on lubuntu, FYI there is no gedit on lubuntu. The gedit is based on GNOME, while lubuntu use LXDE instead of GNOME.

As alternative, lubuntu comes with leafpad text editor (GTK based) which should be as good as gedit (or not). Just like gedit you can also open leafpad from the terminal.

So for example you want to edit network configuration file, normally on ubuntu you type sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces, while on lubuntu you type :

sudo leafpad /etc/network/interfaces

Get it? if you still prefer using gedit, you can install it if you want. It's your computer so it's up to you. :)
