How to install skype on Lubuntu 14.04

Skype is very important software for communication, many people use it whether for work or for personal use.

In this article i will show you how to install skype on lubuntu 14.04 trusty tahr, and should be same for other version.

Open terminal on lubuntu, by pressing CTRL + ALT + T, and then type the following command :

sudo apt-get install skype

You will be prompted for root password, type the password and make sure the internet is working.

If you having error saying Unable to locate package skype, you need to activate "Canonical Partners" on the repository, read here.

Once installed, skype is available from the start menu > internet > skype. For the first time there will be "term of use" window.

Noticed that it's actually the old version of skype, skype 4.2, but i think it's better than nothing.
