In this post i will show you how to install chromium web browser on lubuntu 14.04 trusty tahr. But first of all, do you know what's the different between chrome and chromium?
If you already know, that's good. But if you don't, you might wanna search on google what's the different between the two of them. LOL i'm not going to tell you cause i wanna make this short.
Bottom line, chromium is maintain by ubuntu/lubuntu guy's that's why chromium is available on the repository of ubuntu/lubuntu while chrome is maintain by google and you need to download manually.
Alright, to install chromium on lubuntu, open the terminal (CTRL + ALT + T), and then type the following command:
sudo apt-get install chromium-browser
Make sure the internet works, because that command will download some packages from the ubuntu/lubuntu repository via internet.

As you can see the chromium-browser package is about 170 Mb, make sure you have enough free space on your computer.
You can open the chromium web browser from the start menu > Internet > Chromium Web Browser, or simply type chromium-browser from the terminal. Okay, now try this command on terminal and see what's happen:
chromium-browser lubuntuhowto.blogspot.com
NOTE:
